Our organisational setup
The Multicultural Centre for Respectful Maternity Care (MCRMC) functions as a community-driven nonprofit organisation. Leadership is provided by migrant families who understand the maternity system through direct experience. This framework ensures that people navigating maternity care gaps determine our goals and primary actions. MCRMC serves as a vital bridge for authorities, medical bodies, and academics looking for genuine community perspectives to improve the safety and quality of maternity services.
STEERING COMMITTEE TEAM
This leadership group offers strategic guidance and lived-experience oversight. It consists of parent advocates from varying migrant and refugee backgrounds, making sure our mission stays connected to the everyday realities of community health and birth journeys.
COMPLIANCE
Our work follows a formal constitution that requires parent-led direction.
